Civil Engineer

Job Nature: Full Time Vacancy: 1 Location: Gazipur Posted: 27 Oct, 2026 Print Job Description The Civil Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing all on-site civil construction, structural maintenance, renovation, and repair work within the facility. This role involves inspecting factory infrastructure, supervising contractor activities, checking material quality, preparing cost estimates, and ensuring all works strictly adhere to quality, safety, and operational compliance standards. Roles And Responsibilities • Regularly inspect factory buildings, industrial floors, roofs, boundary walls, and roads to identify wear or damage • Design, supervise, and verify heavy vibration-resistant concrete foundations for spinning machinery (such as blow rooms, carding machines, draw frames, and ring frames). • Manage factory drainage networks, rainwater harvesting, and waste/effluent management channels. • Oversee day-to-day on-site civil works, structural repairs, and new building expansions. • Direct contractor crews, track daily site progress, and verify contractor bills and measurements. • Prepare cost estimates, Bill of Quantities (BOQ), material requisitions, and project schedules • Enforce local building codes, industrial safety standards, and environmental regulations across the mill • Work closely with the production, electrical, mechanical, and administration teams to minimize downtime during repairs. • Supervise day-to-day civil construction, maintenance, repair and renovation works Academic Qualifications • Diploma in Engineering • Concentration/Major: Civil Engineering • Preferred Institutes: University of Development Alternative Others Requirements • Age: 30 - 45 years • Gender: Male • Training/Course: Industrial training Workplace: Work at Office Salary/Compensation: Negotiable Other Benefits • Festival Bonus: 2 • Salary Review: Yearly Last Date of Application: 30 Nov, 2026 Additional Instructions • Education • Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg) in Civil Engineering • Diploma in Engineering in Civil Engineering Experience • • 5 to 7 years • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Textile, Garments Apply to this job!
