JD – Mechancial Sourcing Responisbilities • For new part development, identify / source supplier • Float RFQs / Get quotes / Negotiate for part prices basis should costing • Suppler Audits and Onboarding • Prepare part development plan • Develop Parts as per project / development plan • Co ordinate with Quality / R&D for qualification of parts • Ensures supplies for Proto / Pilot build • Cost reduction / Value engineering activities • Alternate sourcing Components / Commodities Exposure Preferred • Mechanical Parts • Sheet metal fabrication • Precision machining • Castings (Aluminum, Iron, Zinc) • Forgings • Extrusions • Plastic molded parts • Rubber components • Fasteners • Heat sinks Experience – 6 to 12 years Target companies – Any Reputed Product Manufacturing Companies – Schneider, Seimens, Bosch, ABB, Fuji Electric, Emerson, Automotive Industries, Work Location – Bangalore
