Civil Engineer (Irrigation and MS Pipeline)

Company Name: Mateshwari Construction Department: Civil Engineering / Project Execution Job Title: Civil Engineer – Irrigation & MS Pipeline Job Location: Project Site Experience: 3–6Years (Preferred) Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary : We are looking for an experienced Civil Engineer specializing in irrigation projects and Mild Steel (MS) pipeline works. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and monitoring of civil construction and pipeline installation activities while ensuring quality standards, safety regulations, and project timelines are met. Key Responsibilities : • Supervise and execute irrigation projects and MS pipeline installation works at project sites. • Monitor pipeline laying, alignment, jointing, welding, and installation activities. • Ensure proper excavation, trenching, bedding, backfilling, and pipeline testing. • Read and interpret engineering drawings, layouts, and technical specifications. • Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, contractors, and labour teams. • Monitor daily progress and prepare site progress reports. • Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety procedures, and project specifications. • Check materials, including MS pipes, fittings, valves, and other construction materials. • Coordinate hydrostatic pressure testing, inspection, and commissioning of pipelines. • Maintain measurement books, daily site records, and work completion documentation. • Identify site issues and coordinate corrective actions to avoid project delays. • Ensure work is completed within the approved budget and project schedule. Required Qualifications : • Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering. • 3–6 years of relevant experience in irrigation and MS pipeline projects. • Practical knowledge of pipeline installation, welding inspection coordination, hydrotesting, and civil works. • Ability to read civil drawings and understand technical specifications. • Knowledge of site execution, quality control, and safety practices. • Good coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Skills : • Experience in irrigation pipeline networks and large-diameter MS pipelines. • Knowledge of BOQ, quantity estimation, measurements, and billing. • Familiarity with AutoCAD and MS Excel. • Experience in contractor and manpower management. • Understanding of pipeline pressure testing and commissioning procedures. Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
