Job Description

Overview We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with strong UX judgment who can evaluate existing SaaS, web, and mobile platforms from the user's perspective, identify usability and workflow problems, recommend practical improvements, and translate those recommendations into clear requirements for development teams. This is not primarily a visual design role and does not require developer-level coding; the ideal candidate combines product thinking, UI/UX review skills, technical fluency, structured documentation, and strong developer/stakeholder communication. Required US market experience Key Responsibilities • Review web, mobile, and SaaS platforms end-to-end and identify UI/UX, usability, workflow, navigation, consistency, localization, accessibility, and conversion-friction issues across key journeys such as onboarding, login, profile creation, search/discovery, matching, booking/request, payment, notifications, support, and account management. • Perform structured UX/product audits using usability principles, business goals, user feedback or analytics when available, and competitive benchmarking; separate critical product issues from lower-priority cosmetic improvements and recommend practical priorities. • Create clear improvement recommendations using screenshots, annotations, user flows, wireframes, or simple Figma mockups when useful; define expected behavior, rationale, priority, functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. • Translate findings into actionable tickets and prioritized backlogs; work with frontend/backend developers and external development teams to explain requirements, assess constraints, clarify scope, answer questions, and track implementation. • Validate completed changes through acceptance testing and regression review; confirm that the implemented experience solves the original problem and remains consistent across devices, browsers, languages, and connected workflows. • Coordinate with business stakeholders and international clients to understand product goals, customer pain points, market expectations, and launch priorities; present findings and progress in clear professional English and bridge business, users, designers, and developers. Qualifications • 5-7+ years of relevant experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, UX/Product Strategy, Digital Product Management, Business Analysis, Platform Experience, or a closely related role. • Demonstrated experience reviewing and improving real digital products, preferably SaaS, marketplace, matching, booking, e-commerce, subscription, travel, sports, or other workflow-driven platforms. • Strong understanding of UX fundamentals including information architecture, navigation, interaction patterns, user flows, forms, onboarding, error states, responsive behavior, accessibility, consistency, and usability heuristics. • Ability to convert business goals, user problems, and UX findings into structured functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, tickets, and prioritized product backlogs. • Technically fluent enough to collaborate with software developers and understand frontend/backend dependencies, APIs, authentication, data flows, staging/production, bugs, releases, and technical trade-offs without being a software engineer. • Hands-on experience with product/UX documentation and collaboration tools such as Figma, Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Trello, Confluence, Notion, or similar tools. • Fluent or near-fluent professional English, written and spoken, with the ability to lead meetings, present findings, explain product problems clearly, and work across countries. Preferred Qualifications • Direct professional experience with clients in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, Europe, or other international/English-speaking markets; applicants should identify the market and their specific responsibilities. • Experience conducting UX audits, heuristic reviews, competitive product analysis, user testing, customer interviews, funnel analysis, or product analytics and using findings to prioritize improvements. • Experience with consumer-facing SaaS or marketplace/matching products, especially multi-step journeys involving search, matching, booking, payment, support, or mobile-first usage. • Ability to create practical wireframes or annotated Figma screens is strongly preferred; advanced visual/brand design skills are not required if product and UX requirements can be communicated clearly. • Prior agency, startup, SaaS, technology-services, or international remote-team experience; experience coordinating external developers or vendor development teams is a strong plus. • Experience maintaining UX standards, QA checklists, issue logs, product documentation, release validation, or repeatable product-review processes across multiple projects. Working Conditions • Employment type: Freelance, part-time, or full-time depending on experience, location, and business needs. • Work arrangement: Remote work available; regular online collaboration with US business/client teams and development teams and other countries. • Experience level: Mid-senior to senior. Strong hands-on product/UX review experience and shipped-product examples are more important than job title alone. • Compensation: To be determined based on location, product management depth, UX/platform experience, English proficiency, international client experience, and portfolio quality. Benefits • Flexible, autonomous remote work environment with exposure to international SaaS, marketplace, AI-platform, web, and mobile product projects. • Opportunity to directly influence product quality and customer experience while serving as a key bridge among business stakeholders, users, designers, and international development teams. Hiring Process • Document screening (resume + product/UX case studies or examples of platforms personally reviewed or improved) • Practical product review: review a sample platform or workflow and identify key UX/product issues, priorities, and recommended improvements • Developer-handoff exercise + live English interview: convert findings into clear requirements/user stories/acceptance criteria and explain a prior project in English • Final interview offer and employment/contract terms confirmed based on role and location Required documents: Resume plus 23 examples of digital products, SaaS platforms, apps, or websites personally reviewed, managed, or improved. Applicants should state the product, market/country, specific role, problems identified, recommendations made, developers/designers coordinated, and measurable or observable outcomes where available.
