Senior Adobe Experience Manager Frontend Engineer ( 5+ years)

AEM Frontend Developer Position: AEM Frontend Developer – Position 1 Experience: 5+ Years Location: Remote / IST Employment Type: Contract Job Overview We are seeking an experienced AEM Frontend Developer with 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern frontend technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS , along with practical experience developing scalable AEM components and digital experiences. The candidate will work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, architects, DevOps teams, and business stakeholders to deliver responsive, accessible, high-performing, and enterprise-grade digital solutions. Key Responsibilities • Develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise-grade websites and digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) . • Design and develop reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components following AEM best practices. • Develop responsive and mobile-first web interfaces using modern frontend technologies. • Work with AEM Sites, Templates, Editable Templates, Content Fragments, and Experience Fragments . • Customize and extend AEM Core Components based on business and design requirements. • Develop and manage AEM Client Libraries (Clientlibs) . • Implement AEM components using HTL (Sightly) and integrate them with frontend applications. • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design specifications into pixel-perfect, responsive implementations. • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs and GraphQL services . • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, accessibility, and optimal user experience. • Implement web accessibility standards in accordance with WCAG guidelines . • Optimize frontend applications for performance, SEO, page speed, and scalability . • Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and development best practices. • Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD, build, deployment, and release activities . • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve frontend and AEM-related production issues. • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
