Business Analyst – Strategy & Business Development Department: Strategy & Business Development Location: Suchitra Circle, Hyderabad Experience: 1–4 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Travel: Frequent travel with senior management About the Role We are looking for a curious, analytical, highly driven Business Analyst who will work closely with senior management and work as core management on business research, strategic initiatives, market analysis, client meetings, and new business opportunities. This is not a routine desk-based Business Analyst role. The person will travel with senior management, participate in important meetings, understand businesses across industries, research topics in depth, analyze opportunities, and convert information into meaningful business insights. The ideal candidate should be someone who loves learning, asking questions, researching deeply, understanding how businesses work, and working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities • Senior Management Support & Strategic Analysis * Work closely with senior management on strategic and business-related assignments. • Attend meetings, client discussions, business visits, conferences, and events with senior management. • Prepare meeting briefs, background research, discussion points, and follow-up reports. • Understand management requirements and independently research relevant topics. • Track important decisions, action items, and business opportunities discussed during meetings. • Support management in evaluating new ideas, partnerships, investments, and business initiatives. • Business & Market Research * Conduct deep-dive research on companies, industries, markets, competitors, technologies, and business models. • Research emerging business trends and identify potential opportunities. • Study competitors, their products/services, pricing, positioning, customers, and strategies. • Prepare detailed research reports and management presentations. • Gather information from industry reports, websites, government sources, news, databases, and other reliable sources. • Convert large amounts of information into concise and actionable insights. • Business Development Support * Research potential clients, partners, vendors, investors, and business opportunities. • Prepare company profiles and prospect intelligence before meetings. • Identify potential markets and sectors for expansion. • Support the business development team in preparing proposals and presentations. • Maintain a database of business leads, opportunities, and strategic contacts. • Follow up on opportunities and prepare status reports. • Travel & Field Exposure * Travel with senior management for client meetings, business visits, conferences, events, and market exploration. • Participate actively in discussions and understand the business requirements of clients and partners. • Conduct on-ground research during business visits. • Prepare visit reports highlighting observations, opportunities, concerns, and recommended actions. • Be comfortable with frequent and sometimes short-notice travel. • Data Analysis & Reporting * Analyze business data and prepare meaningful insights. • Create Excel-based analysis, dashboards, presentations, and management reports. • Track business performance indicators and prepare periodic reports. • Identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities from available data. • Present findings clearly to management. • Special Projects The candidate may be assigned projects such as: • New business feasibility studies • Market-entry research • Competitor analysis • Industry research • Customer research • Business model analysis • Government schemes and policy research • Technology and AI research • Investment opportunity research • Partnership evaluation • New product/service research • Process improvement studies What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who is: • Highly curious and eager to learn • Strong in research and analytical thinking • Comfortable asking questions and going beyond surface-level information • Able to understand complex topics quickly • Good at connecting information from different sources • Comfortable interacting with senior management and clients • Excellent in written and verbal communication • Comfortable with frequent travel • Good at preparing presentations and reports • Able to work independently with minimum supervision • Comfortable hand
