The Civil Project Engineer will oversee the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with technical standards, local regulations, and client requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and reviewing engineering drawings and calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors, and monitoring project progress against schedules and budgets. The role involves conducting site inspections, implementing quality control measures, and resolving technical issues that arise during construction. The Civil Project Engineer will also support reporting, documentation, and communication with stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design, with the ability to develop and review technical plans and calculations. • Experience in Site Development, including layout planning, grading, utilities coordination, and adherence to local codes. • Knowledge of Stormwater Management, drainage design, and related environmental and regulatory requirements. • Proficiency in Quality Control practices, including inspections, testing coordination, and documentation to maintain project standards. • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline; relevant professional certifications or licensure are an advantage. • Familiarity with industry-standard design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D or similar) and basic project management tools. • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and ethical engineering practices.
