Company Description Precitech Equipments India Pvt Ltd is a specialized manufacturer serving the Defence, oil and gas, water, and process industries with Fabrication, Machining, skids, equipment, and stacks. The company is an EIL-approved manufacturer for pre-fabricated pipe spools in carbon steel and stainless steel, and produces technological equipment for the steel sector. Precitech is also an RDSO-approved manufacturer of steel plate girders for railways and metro projects, reflecting strong compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Team members work in an environment focused on heavy fabrication, precision engineering, and large-scale infrastructure support. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer role based in the Chakan area. The Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer will oversee and optimize manufacturing processes for Fabrication, Machining, skids, equipment, pipe spools, plate girders, and related components, ensuring quality, efficiency, and safety. Daily responsibilities include reviewing engineering drawings, preparing and updating process plans, coordinating with design, production, and quality teams, and resolving technical issues on the shop floor. The role involves using CAD tools to refine designs for manufacturability, supervising machining and fabrication operations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce costs and lead times. The engineer will also contribute to compliance with relevant industry standards and client specifications and assist in documentation and reporting for projects. Qualifications • Strong foundation in Mechanical Engineering, with knowledge of manufacturing engineering principles and industrial standards. • Proficiency in Manufacturing Processes and Machining, including fabrication, welding, and assembly in heavy engineering environments. • Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for mechanical components and systems, with a focus on design for manufacturability. • Ability to apply Manufacturing Engineering and Mechanical Engineering skills to process optimization, cost reduction, and quality improvement. • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. • Experience in heavy fabrication, oil & gas, steel, railways, or similar sectors is highly beneficial. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities, with attention to detail and safety practices. • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects.
