Job Description

We are a climate-tech company working at the intersection of climate science, deep tech, and the economic impact of climate change. Our Geospatial AI platform – Prudent, transforms large-scale Earth observation and climate data into actionable insights for enterprises. Role Summary We are looking for a skilled and motivated Full-Stack Developer with a strong foundation in React (frontend) and Python (backend) to join our development team. As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, enhancing, and maintaining scalable web applications from concept to deployment. You will work closely with product managers and other developers to deliver high-quality software, and will take full ownership of the frontend, backend, data pipelines, and everything else related to the features assigned to you. Key Responsibilities · Develop and maintain responsive, interactive web applications using React.js · Design and implement RESTful APIs and backend services using Python (Firebase Functions, Django, Flask) · Collaborate with fellow developers to define, design, and ship new features · Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following industry best practices · Optimize components for performance across web-capable devices and browsers · Integrate frontend components with server-side logic and databases · Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) to deploy and manage applications · Participate in code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of production issues · Maintain technical documentation and participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives Required Skills · Proven experience (1–2 years) building full-stack applications · Proficiency in React.js, including hooks, state management, and component-based architecture · Strong backend experience with Python and frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI · Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases (Firestore, MongoDB) and cloud platforms (GCP/AWS) · Familiarity with RESTful APIs, WebSockets, and asynchronous programming · Version control using Git and platforms such as GitHub or GitLab · Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker, and experience with CI/CD pipelines, is a plus · Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership What you get The opportunity to work on problems that matter to the industry, build products that clients use directly, and take full ownership of what you build.
