Product Project Manager ( Capital Market)

Experience: 5 to 10 Years (target range) Location: Mumbai Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview We are looking for a Product Project Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of multi-product digital platforms within the capital markets ecosystem. The role involves managing complex technology initiatives across RMS/OMS middleware, web, mobile, back-office systems and open APIs. The ideal candidate should have strong capital markets domain knowledge, technical understanding of distributed systems and experience managing cross-functional engineering teams. Key Responsibilities • Own end-to-end delivery of features across middleware, APIs, web, mobile and back-office platforms. • Coordinate cross-functional teams across Backend (Golang), Frontend (React), Mobile (Flutter), QA, DevOps and Infrastructure. • Manage integrations with Stock Exchanges, Clearing Corporations and Depositories. • Conduct impact analysis for regulatory and exchange-driven changes. • Define release strategies, dependency mapping and rollback plans. • Ensure API versioning, backward compatibility and integration standards. • Monitor delivery metrics, defect leakage, release quality and production incidents (MTTR). • Align business priorities with engineering capacity and manage scope effectively. • Drive stakeholder communication across Business, Engineering and external entities. • Ensure timely delivery of high-risk releases and regulatory commitments. Mandatory Skills & Experience • Strong understanding of Capital Markets, Stock Broking and Trading workflows. • Hands-on project delivery experience involving OMS, RMS, Order Lifecycle, Margining, Settlement and DP processes. • Technical understanding of APIs, distributed systems, database migrations and deployment models. • Experience managing multi-service product environments. • Proven experience handling regulatory deadlines and critical production releases. • Strong stakeholder and cross-functional team management skills. Good to Have • Experience with high-concurrency trading systems. • Knowledge of Kafka-based event-driven architectures. • Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization and cloud-native deployments. • Exposure to Golang, React and Flutter-based technology environments. What We Are Not Looking For • Purely Agile/Scrum or ceremony-driven coordinators. • Project Managers without fintech or capital markets platform experience. • Candidates limited to documentation, reporting and project tracking without technical delivery ownership. Ideal Candidate: A technically strong Project Manager from a stockbroking, trading or capital markets technology company who has owned complex platform delivery from planning through production deployment.
