JOB TITLE : Mechanical Engineer (Production & Design) Job Description Designation : Mechanical Engineer – Production & Design Department : Production / Design Experience : 1–10 Years Industry : Manufacturing / Engineering Employment Type : Full Time Location : Indore Key Responsibilities Handle daily production activities and ensure achievement of production targets. Supervise shop-floor operations, machine operators and production workers. Prepare 2D drawings and 3D mechanical models using SolidWorks. Develop mechanical designs, assemblies and manufacturing drawings. Monitor machine performance and minimize production downtime. Coordinate with Production, Quality, Maintenance and other departments. Ensure product quality and reduce rejection and material wastage. Prepare BOM (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation. Modify existing designs as per manufacturing and production requirements. Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machines and raw materials Implement 5S, Kaizen and continuous improvement activities. Resolve technical and production-related issues. Required Skills B.E. / B.Tech. or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge of Production & Manufacturing Processes. Practical knowledge of SolidWorks. Knowledge of 2D Drafting and 3D Modelling. Understanding of Mechanical Drawings and GD&T. Knowledge of Production Planning and Shop Floor Management. Knowledge of 5S, Kaizen and Quality Control. Basic MS Excel and Computer Knowledge. Good Problem-Solving and Communication Skills. Experience Require d Minimum 1 year to Maximum 10 years.
