We are looking for a passionate Junior Civil Engineer who wants to build projects that directly benefit communities. Working under the guidance of the Senior Civil Engineer, you will assist in planning, executing, monitoring, and delivering multiple civil construction projects across SSDS initiatives. From schools and healthcare facilities to institutional buildings and community development projects, you will gain hands-on exposure to the complete project lifecycle—from drawings and estimation to execution, quality control, billing, and project handover. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer who wants to develop strong technical and project management capabilities while working on meaningful infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities • Site Execution & Supervision: Assist the Senior Civil Engineer in supervising day-to-day construction activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines. • Quality Assurance: Monitor construction quality, verify workmanship, inspect materials, and ensure compliance with engineering standards and applicable IS Codes. • Project Coordination: Coordinate with contractors, consultants, vendors, architects, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of ongoing projects. • Estimation & Documentation: Prepare quantity estimates, maintain Bills of Quantities (BOQs), verify measurements, and support preparation of project reports, DPRs, and site documentation. • Billing & Measurement Verification: Assist in contractor billing, measurement book (MB) preparation, work certification, and reconciliation of executed quantities. • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all construction activities follow prescribed safety practices, statutory regulations, and environmental guidelines. • Progress Monitoring: Track project milestones, identify execution challenges, and proactively report delays or risks to the Senior Civil Engineer. • Site Inspections & Handover: Participate in inspections, snagging activities, final quality checks, and project handovers. What We Are Looking For • Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. • Experience: Approximately 2 years of experience in civil construction, site execution, infrastructure development, or building projects. • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, BOQ preparation, quantity estimation, construction drawings, billing procedures, and quality control practices. Familiarity with MS Project will be an added advantage. • Engineering Mindset: A proactive engineer who enjoys solving site challenges, maintaining construction quality, and learning through practical execution. • Communication & Coordination: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with contractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams. • Mobility: Willingness to travel across project locations whenever required and work from our Hoshiarpur headquarters.
