Frontend Developer - React / TypeScript

Job Summary Job Title: Frontend Developer - React / TypeScript Location: Pune Responsibilities • Build and maintain scalable frontend applications using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Hooks, Context API, and reusable component patterns. • Integrate frontend applications with REST APIs, WebSocket-based services, and real-time messaging platforms. • Contribute to the modernization and maintenance of existing frontend components, including legacy AngularJS applications where required. • Work with modern frontend build tools, package managers, browser APIs, testing frameworks, and debugging tools. • Use AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot, or equivalent to accelerate development, testing, debugging, code reviews, and technical problem-solving. • Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of frontend engineering practices. • Take ownership of features from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support. Qualifications & Required Skills • 5-8 years of software development experience with strong hands-on expertise in React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. • Strong understanding of frontend architecture, state management, asynchronous programming, browser APIs, and component design. • Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs and real-time/WebSocket-based services. • Experience with modern frontend build tooling, automated testing, Git-based development, and production troubleshooting. • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools in day-to-day engineering workflows. • Ability to independently understand existing codebases and collaborate effectively with engineering and product teams. • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Mandatory Skills • React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript. • React Hooks, Context API, state management, and reusable component design. • REST API integration, asynchronous programming, and WebSocket-based communication. • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude, or GitHub Copilot. • Frontend build tools, Git, automated testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. Good to Have Skills • Experience with Centrifugo or similar real-time messaging technologies. • Experience maintaining or modernizing AngularJS applications. • Exposure to browser extensions, service workers, Playwright, MSW, pnpm, Vite, or Webpack. • Knowledge of browser-based ML technologies such as ONNX Runtime Web, WebAssembly, or WebGPU. • Experience developing AI-enabled features or integrating AI/ML models, LLMs, or AI services into production applications.
