Exp - 5-6 year, Budegt 7 lpa Basic Project Manager Profile The ideal candidate will combine technical knowledge, leadership, and organizational skills to successfully deliver projects from planning to completion. Key attributes include: • Location: Mumbai (with travel to project sites as required). • Work Type: Full-time, In-person. • Personality Traits: Strong leadership presence, decisive, proactive, punctual, and disciplined. • Interpersonal Strengths: Excellent communicator who can coordinate across internal teams, vendors, and clients while managing multiple projects at once. • Mindset: Solution-oriented, adaptable under pressure, and capable of balancing multiple priorities with discipline and time management. • Work Style: Structured in execution, detail-driven, and results-focused, while maintaining the ability to see the bigger picture. • Technical Competence: Ability to review, interpret, and vet CAD/technical drawings, ensuring alignment with design intent, BOQs, and execution feasibility. • Integrity: Professionalism and honesty in handling client expectations, project costs, and team performance. • Departmental Scope: Project Managers will directly oversee Project Executives, Site Engineers, Supervisors, and supporting staff, coordinating closely with Procurement, Logistics, Accounts, and HR for seamless execution. What You’ll Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (PMP/PRINCE2 certification a plus). • 5–10 years of proven project management experience, preferably in construction, interiors, or technical infrastructure projects. • Strong technical understanding of Raised Access Floors, UFAD, AFM solutions, and power/ergonomic systems (preferred but not mandatory). • Proven ability to review, interpret, and approve CAD/technical drawings and BOQs. • Solid knowledge of project management tools, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting. • Ability to manage large teams, subcontractors, and vendors with efficiency. • Strong client management and negotiation skills. • Excellent communication, leadership, punctuality, and problem-solving abilities. • Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent project management software. What You’ll Do On-site Execution (Core Responsibilities – Bare Minimum) - Lead and manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery within time, scope, and budget. - Oversee daily site execution through Project Executives, Engineers, and Supervisors. - Vet CAD/technical drawings and BOQs, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and feasibility before execution. - Monitor progress of installation phases (e.g., site marking, understructure laying, panel installations, cut-outs, finishing). - Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics for timely delivery of materials and equipment. - Ensure site adherence to drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications. - Enforce compliance with safety standards and EHS requirements. - Maintain punctuality and discipline in meetings, reviews, and site supervision to manage multiple stakeholders effectively. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients during on-site execution. Project Governance & Reporting (Broader Responsibilities) - Prepare and monitor project schedules, daily/weekly progress reports, and performance dashboards. - Track budgets and costs, aligning with Accounts for billing and cash flow. - Identify risks, disruptions, and site challenges, implementing corrective actions. - Standardize processes across projects to ensure consistency and scalability. - Supervise multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining oversight on quality and delivery. - Mentor and coach project teams, developing leadership among Executives and Engineers. - Collaborate with HR for manpower forecasting and onboarding of new site resources. - Partner with leadership to design project governance frameworks, SOPs, and risk management systems. - Report project metrics (time, cost, quality, safety, client satisfaction) to senior management.
