Mechanical Design Engineer(Plumbing and FF)

Position: Mechanical Design Engineer(Plumbing and FF) Location- Chennai Company: TD Engineering and private limited Responsibilities · Experience designing plumbing & drainage systems, and fire protection systems. · Coordinate and collaborate real time with other disciplines such as electrical, structural, architectural and process to develop designs. · Perform Internal plumbing system include domestic cold & hot water supply, soil, waste & venting, rain water down takes & disposal systems based on rainfall intensity, basement drainage, subsoil drainage · Hot water system including Hot water generator, Domestic Steam boiler and heat pump etc & relevant design calculations as per standards & applicable code. · Survey existing systems for documentation and condition assessment. · Produce shop drawings as per the details given. · Review project files for compliance with standards/protocols · Review Manufacturer’s Drawings for Conformance to Project Needs. · Develop One Line, Protection One Line Diagrams and Construction Documents. · Apply Applicable Local Codes and Standards to Project Designs. · Able to meet tight deadlines and able to work as an individual contributor or in a team setting · Coordinate and monitor shop drawings submission schedule · Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire safety codes and standards. · Create detailed design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and calculations. · Collaborate with contractors and project managers during the installation and testing phases of fire protection systems. · Stay updated on advancements in fire protection technology and industry best practices. · Provide technical support and expertise to resolve fire protection-related issues during construction or occupancy. · Qualifications & Experience: · BE in Mechanical Engineering · 5 Min years of experience in Plumbing and Firefighting design with drafting · Oil & Gas, Airports, warehouse, Tower, Commercial and Residential Building · Preference will be given to experience in international projects · Must have knowledge on US Plumbing design codes & standards · Proficient skills and working knowledge of Revit/AutoCAD If you are interested to apply on this role please reach me cigno@td-engg.com/+91-XXXXXXXXXX Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹120,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
