Job Description - Business Analyst / Project Management Resource Oracle FLEXCUBE 11.2 & 14.7 with Database Functional Expertise Position Title: Business Analyst / Project Management Resource - Oracle FLEXCUBE 11.2 & 14.7 Location: Bangalore / Hybrid /Remote /Onsite Experience: 4-8 Years Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Management professional with strong functional and technical understanding of Oracle FLEXCUBE versions 11.2 and 14.7. The resource should possess hands-on experience in banking operations, FLEXCUBE modules, database functional analysis, production support coordination, and project delivery management. The candidate will act as a bridge between business users, application teams, infrastructure teams, database administrators, and vendors to support implementation, enhancement, migration, upgrade, and operational initiatives across FLEXCUBE environments. Key Responsibilities Business Analysis Responsibilities • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for FLEXCUBE applications. • Conduct requirement workshops with business users and stakeholders. • Prepare: o BRD (Business Requirement Document) o FRD (Functional Requirement Document) o Gap analysis documents o Process flow diagrams o Use cases and solution documentation • Understand banking workflows and map them to FLEXCUBE functionalities. • Coordinate UAT testing, defect tracking, and business sign-offs. • Support production issue analysis and functional troubleshooting. • Work closely with technical teams for change implementation and release validation. Project Management Responsibilities • Manage FLEXCUBE-related projects, enhancements, and releases. • Coordinate with infrastructure, DBA, middleware, network, security, and vendor teams. • Track project timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables. • Prepare project status reports, RAID logs, and governance documentation. • Ensure compliance with: o SDLC processes o Change management o Audit and regulatory requirements • Support migration activities between environments (DEV/UAT/PROD/DR). • Participate in DR drills, go-live planning, and post-implementation reviews. FLEXCUBE Functional & Database Responsibilities FLEXCUBE Functional Knowledge Strong understanding of: • Customer Information File (CIF) • CASA • Deposits • Loans • Trade Finance • Payments • Treasury • GL & Accounting • Limits & Collateral • AML/CFT integration • Interface reconciliation • EOD/BOD processing • Batch monitoring and issue resolution Database Functional Expertise Candidate should have strong functional understanding of Oracle database structures supporting FLEXCUBE. Required Knowledge • Experience : 4-8 Years • Oracle database architecture related to FLEXCUBE • FLEXCUBE schema understanding • Core transaction tables and accounting entries • Interface and staging tables • Batch processing tables • SQL query analysis and validation • Data reconciliation and report validation • Understanding of: o Stored procedures o Packages o Triggers o Views o Jobs and schedulers • Ability to analyze data issues using SQL queries • Experience coordinating with DBA teams for: o Database refresh o Cloning o Backup and recovery validation o Data archival activities Required Technical Skills Mandatory Skills • Strong experience in Oracle FLEXCUBE 11.2 and/or 14.7 • Oracle SQL and PL/SQL knowledge • Banking domain expertise • Requirement gathering and stakeholder management • Project coordination and reporting • Production support coordination • Experience with incident/problem management processes Preferred Skills • Knowledge of: o Oracle Database o API and middleware integrations o Data migration and reconciliation • Experience in FLEXCUBE upgrade or migration projects Educational Qualification • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or related discipline. • MBA or banking certifications are an added advantage.
