Backend Developer (Python/FastAPI)

About Techfnatic We're building a Real Estate Construction OS - a platform that brings project management, operations, and intelligence together for the construction industry. We're a small, fast-moving team shipping real product to real users, and we're looking for a backend developer who wants ownership, not tickets. What you'll do Design and build backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI) Own data modeling and queries across PostgreSQL and MongoDB Build and integrate LLM-powered features into the product using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and CrewAI Design and deploy on AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, DynamoDB/S3) and server-driven architectures Work closely with the founding team on architecture decisions, from schema design to deployment Write clean, tested, maintainable code and ship fast What we're looking for 1.5-2 years of backend development experience in Python, with production FastAPI experience Strong SQL fundamentals and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB Working knowledge of LLMs and the AI tooling ecosystem - you've built with or experimented seriously with LangChain, LangGraph, or CrewAI Experience with AWS serverless services and understanding of server-driven architecture patterns A team player who communicates well, takes feedback, and cares about what gets shipped Comfortable in a remote setup, open to hybrid down the line Nice to have Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or agentic workflows Exposure to construction, real estate, or B2B SaaS domains CI/CD and infra-as-code familiarity Why join us Early team, direct ownership of core systems Work at the intersection of AI and a massive underserved industry Remote-first for now, flexible ways of working .
