Mechanical Engineer I / II — Automated Systems & Robotics Automated Design Corporation Email Mechanical Engineer I / II — Automated Systems & Robotics About ADC Automated Design Corp. (ADC) specializes in the design and development of automated sports-testing equipment, industrial automation, and robotic systems. We combine precision engineering, hands-on prototyping, and advanced mechanical design to deliver reliable, high-performance automated solutions. Position Overview We are hiring one mechanical engineer and will place the right candidate at either the Engineer I or Engineer II level based on experience — so we encourage both new graduates and engineers with several years of skilled design experience to apply. Either way, you will work on mechanical design, drafting, assembly, and troubleshooting across a variety of automated systems. This role blends SolidWorks design work with hands-on mechanical assembly and real-world engineering problem solving. Engineer II candidates will take on greater design ownership and independence from the start. Key Responsibilities All levels: Create and modify parts, assemblies, and detailed 2D drawings in SolidWorks. Generate and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and manage drawing revisions. Apply tolerancing to ensure proper fit, function, and manufacturability. Assist with prototype builds and system assembly. Help diagnose and resolve mechanical issues during assembly and integration. Follow and contribute to company engineering standards and manufacturing practices. Additional Responsibilities At The Engineer II Level Independently design complex parts, assemblies, and subsystems from concept through release. Apply GD&T; for manufacturability and reliability. Plan and execute mechanical testing and validation. Manage documentation and revisions with minimal oversight. Collaborate direct
