AR is a Singapore-based long-only asset management firm established in 2006. Role Overview We are looking for a highly analytical and technology-oriented professional to support the Investment and Operations teams through business analytics, automation, and AI-driven process improvement initiatives. This role is designed for candidates who enjoy solving operational problems using technology, building scalable workflows, improving data visibility, and driving efficiencies across investment operations processes. While the role will include exposure to Fund Operations and Fund Accounting activities, the primary focus will be on: • Business analytics • Operational intelligence • Process automation • Workflow optimization • Implementation of AI-enabled solutions The ideal candidate should have a strong ownership mindset, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to independently execute projects in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Business Analytics & Automation (Primary Focus) • Support the Investment and Operations teams through business analytics, reporting, and automation initiatives • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, MIS reports, and analytical models for operational and investment-related data • Identify process inefficiencies and independently drive automation and optimization projects • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve operational workflows, reporting accuracy, and productivity • Participate in the implementation of scalable technology solutions across operational and analytical functions • Work with APIs, databases, and reporting tools to streamline data flow and enhance decision-making capabilities • Build and enhance data validation, exception monitoring, and control frameworks • Support development of internal data infrastructure and automated reporting ecosystems • Collaborate with stakeholders across Operations, Investments, Finance, and external service providers to improve process efficiency and reporting capabilities • Continuously evaluate new AI and automation tools relevant to the business Fund Operations & Accounting Support (Secondary Focus) • Support day-to-day Fund Operations and Fund Accounting activities across Funds and managed Accounts • Assist in NAV review and reporting processes • Coordinate with Fund Administrators, Custodians, Auditors, and Tax Advisors • Support reconciliation, trade settlement monitoring, and operational exception management • Assist in maintaining operational and accounting records for Funds and Clients • Support regulatory filings, audit coordination, and ad-hoc operational projects as required Candidate Profile We are looking for candidates who combine: • Analytical thinking, • Operational understanding, • Strong technology orientation • Interest in AI-led transformation. The ideal candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking ownership of projects and processes. Qualifications & Experience • 3–5 years of relevant experience in Business Analytics, Fund Operations, Fund Accounting, and/or Operational process improvement roles • B.Com, Post Graduate degree, CA Intermediate, or equivalent qualification in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Business Analytics Skills & Competencies Core Skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Strong written and verbal communication skills, stakeholder management and coordination skills • High attention to detail and structured thinking Technology & Automation Orientation • Strong interest in AI tools, automation, and workflow optimization • Experience with tools such as: • Power BI, Tableau, SQL, APIs, Python • workflow automation platforms, or similar technologies will be an advantage • Ability to independently drive automation and process improvement initiatives What Will Differentiate You • Curiosity toward technology and AI applications in finance • Ability to identify inefficiencies and build practical solutions • Ownership mindset with strong execution capabilities • Comfort operating in a fast-growing and evolving environment Interest in combining finance, analytics, operations, and technology into scalable business solutions.
