Senior Full Stack Developer (Java)

Experience: 7+ Years Contract to Hire (C2H) Industry: Investment Banking / Global Capability Center (GCC) About the Role: Join our newly established Information Security & Risk (ISR) platform within the Data, Developer XP, Architecture, Asset & AI (DAA) department at CASPL. As a Senior Full-Stack Developer within the Identity & Access Management domain, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both user-facing frontends and robust backend microservices. You will collaborate with global teams to build highly reliable applications, enforce strong engineering design principles, and provide L3 production support for critical banking platforms. Key Responsibilities: • Full-Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust frontend applications (React or Angular) and scalable backend architectures (Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC). • API & System Integration: Build secure REST APIs and manage end-to-end integration across the application stack, ensuring high performance and traceability to business requirements. • L3 Production Support: Actively troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production incidents to ensure high system availability. • DevOps & Testing: Write comprehensive unit/integration tests and utilize CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Sonar) to support automated deployment pipelines. • Code Optimization: Partner with architects to maintain strict design standards, eliminate technical vulnerabilities, and drive performance tuning. • Compliance & Integrity: Operate in strict alignment with financial regulatory frameworks, local compliance guidelines, and annual certification processes. Candidate RequirementsExperience & Education: • 7+ years of hands-on full-stack software development experience building enterprise-grade applications. • Experience in an Investment Banking or complex Global Capability Center (GCC) corporate environment is highly preferred. • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline. Technical & Process Skills: • Backend Mastery: Advanced programming skills in Java, Spring Boot, and Spring MVC, with strong capabilities in database design, SQL, and stored procedures. • Frontend Expertise: Proficient in building responsive, modern user interfaces using React or Angular. • Support & Debugging: Proven experience handling Level 3 production support, diagnosing code failures, and managing technical debt/obsolescence risks. • CI/CD & DevOps: Hands-on experience with continuous integration ecosystems involving GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, and Sonar. • Testing Automation: Ability to write and execute robust automated unit tests and full integration test suites. Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills: • Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker / Kubernetes). • Prior exposure to or familiarity with working around Identity & Access Management systems.
