R&D Engineer

About the Role: We are looking for experienced Network Software Engineers to join the R&D team and contribute to the development of next-generation fiber broadband access solutions. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance software for Optical Line Terminal (OLT) platforms, working on cutting-edge GPON/XGS-PON technologies, Layer 2 networking, and telecom software. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to deliver scalable, customer-focused networking solutions. Responsibilities: * Design and develop high-performance software for Optical Line Terminal (OLT) platforms. * Build and enhance fiber access technologies, including GPON and XGS-PON. * Develop and optimize Layer 2 networking features such as VLAN, QoS, Multicast, and Forwarding. * Implement packet processing solutions for network processors. * Develop telecom software using C, C++, Python, and/or Go. * Create and maintain network management software and data models. * Develop and execute automated test frameworks using Robot Framework and Python. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and customer-driven product innovations. * Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance the performance and reliability of networking software. * Participate in agile software development, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
